Senate Approves Extension of Conrad 30 Program |

The U.S. Senate passed an amendment to extend the Conrad 30 program for an additional 3 years on July 9, 2009. The Conrad 30 program allows physicians who have been in the U.S. in J-1 status to obtain a waiver of the two year home residency requirement by completing at least three years in a medically underserved shortage area.
