Nationalities, Employment-Based Categories and Cutoff dates PDF Print

As of October 1st, in order to be eligible to file an adjustment of status to permanent residence or to complete a consular processing case to obtain the immigrant visa, an individual's priority date must be on or before the dates noted on the Visa Bulletin.

Please contact the immigration professional with whom you usually work at Curran & Berger if you have any questions about this announcement.

Please note that the Schedule A category (including both Group I and Group II) is still available as a result of the May 11, 2005 enactment of H.R. 1268, the "Emergency Supplemental Appropriations Act for Defense, the Global War on Terror, and Tsunami Relief, 2005." This act accorded an additional 50,000 visa numbers for beneficiaries and derivatives of Schedule A immigrant worker petitions.
